Guests and Brethren,

On behalf of the Past Masters, Office Bearers and Brethren of the Lodge, I would like to give you a hearty welcome to The Lodge of Old Aberdeen No. 164's website.

When I became Right Worshipful Master of the Lodge in January 2023, it was an extremely humbling experience and emotional, this being the greatest honour any Freemason can have bestowed upon him.

I must take this opportunity to thank the Brethren for affording me the honour and privilege of serving as Master for the ensuing year, as well as my predecessor Bro. Wilf Marshall PM for his excellent stewardship of the Lodge; and I can only hope, I can serve the Lodge as well as he did whilst in the Chair.

Our annual installation in January is always very special but, this year’s was obviously very much more so for myself. In my term as Right Worshipful Master, I will endeavour to carry on the good work that has gone before me; assisted by my newly elected team of Office Bearers. I would also like to take this opportunity of extending an invitation to Lodge members, and visitors alike to come along and support the Lodge, and be assured you will receive a very warm welcome and a fine harmony afterwords. I will continue to support the Lodges in and around the Province of Aberdeen City, as visiting is the lifeblood of Freemasonry.

This website is designed to provide information about the Lodge and Freemasonry in general. A snippet of our brilliant history has been compiled, which you can find on the Lodge history page. Our Syllabus is available with information on our regular meetings and I look forward to welcoming any Brother who may wish to visit our Lodge at any time in the near future.

Please look through our web page and feel free to ask any questions you have about the Lodge itself or Freemasonry in general via the “Contact Us” tab.

I hope you enjoy the content and hopefully we will see you at a meeting soon.

Right Worshipful Master

Bro. Craig J. Allison
